    Program Overview

    This one-year Fellowship in Endocrinology is designed to equip medical professionals with in-depth knowledge and clinical expertise in diagnosing and managing hormonal and metabolic disorders. The course covers both common and complex endocrine conditions through theory modules, case discussions, and supervised clinical training.

    • Hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism

    • Thyroiditis and pregnancy-related thyroid dysfunction

    • Interpretation of TFTs and imaging

    Module 4: Adrenal Gland Disorders

    • Cushing’s syndrome and adrenal insufficiency

    • Pheochromocytoma and incidentalomas

    • Adrenal crisis management

    • ACTH stimulation test and dexamethasone suppression

    Module 5: Pituitary Gland Disorders

    • Hypopituitarism and pituitary tumors

    • Acromegaly, prolactinoma, and diabetes insipidus

    • Visual field testing and pituitary imaging

    • Hormonal replacement and surgical indications

    Module 6: Reproductive Endocrinology

    • PCOS and menstrual disorders

    • Male hypogonadism and infertility

    • Pubertal disorders and amenorrhea

    • Hormonal evaluation and management

    Module 7: Calcium and Bone Metabolism Disorders

    • Hyperparathyroidism and hypoparathyroidism

    • Osteoporosis: diagnosis and treatment

    • Bone turnover markers and DEXA interpretation

    Module 8: Obesity and Metabolic Syndrome

    • Pathogenesis and endocrine causes of obesity

    • Metabolic syndrome and insulin resistance

    • Pharmacological and non-pharmacological management

    • Bariatric surgery: indications and follow-up

    Module 9: Endocrine Hypertension

    • Primary aldosteronism and renovascular hypertension

    • Pheochromocytoma and other rare causes

    • Screening, confirmatory tests, and imaging

    • Treatment and follow-up protocols

    Module 10: Pediatric Endocrinology

    • Short stature and growth disorders

    • Pediatric diabetes and thyroid issues

    • Congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH)

    • Pubertal development and precocious puberty

    Module 11: Endocrine Emergencies and ICU Care

    • Diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA), HHS

    • Adrenal crisis and myxedema coma

    • Pituitary apoplexy and hypercalcemic crisis

    • Emergency management protocols

    Module 12: Integrated Endocrine Case Management

    • Clinical case reviews and diagnostic reasoning

    • Endocrine MDT discussions and planning

    • Chronic disease management and patient counseling

    • Final OSCE, MCQ prep, and viva sessions


    Clinical Training and Hands-On Exposure

    • Endocrine OPD rotations and ward rounds

    • Participation in diabetes camps and patient education

    • Interpretation of endocrine labs, imaging, and dynamic tests

    • Case discussions, hormone therapy initiation, and monitoring


    Assessment and Certification
